Glen Stratton is an employment and human rights lawyer at Ascent Employment Law.
Glen advises clients on workplace law issues including wrongful dismissal, disciplining and/or dismissing employees, properly conducting investigations, restrictive covenants, privacy complaints, shareholder oppression actions, drafting employment contracts, and advising on human rights issues. He represents both employers and employees in his practice.
Glen understands the human component of workplace law-related issues. He has specific experience related to wrongful dismissals involving senior management, leadership, and executive claims, as well as related shareholder and owner disputes.
Glen has appeared before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the BC Human Rights Tribunal, the Canadian Industrial Relations Board, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Employment Standards Branch of British Columbia, and the Residential Tenancy Branch of British Columbia. He has represented clients at trial, in arbitration, in mediation, on applications, and on petitions in courts.
