Welcome to the next installment in our Values series, in which we outline the values that make up the bedrock of Ascent Employment Law. Today we will be focusing on respect.
Respect is a basic, must-have in all our dealings at Ascent; with each other, with our clients; with opposing counsel and of course with Courts and other bodies that we practice before.
Respect is certainly lived through the day-to-day kindnesses. Saying “please” and “thank you”, and holding doors for others, are important. However, respect for us goes far, far deeper.
Respect for us also means deeply honouring and appreciating the important privilege we have of serving our clients through our practice.
Respect means living up to the commitments we make: whether they are timelines we set, actions we are to take, or always ensuring that our clients understand each step in their matter and how are working toward their end-goal. We can only achieve our mission of empowering people when we respect our clients’ true needs and aims, and make sure they are feel respected as partners in creating their desired outcomes.
When you deal with Ascent, you are respected as is the importance of the matter that you entrust to us. You have our word on it!
We hope that this installment of our values series helped you get to know us a little bit better!
Join us next time when we explain what Integrity means to us. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to be in touch to experience the Ascent difference!
