Ascent is pleased to announce that Associate Counsel Veronica Ukrainetz has been awarded her Qualified Mediator (Q.Med) certificate by the ADR Institute of Canada.
This nationally recognized credential confirms that a mediator has met established standards of training and experience to conduct mediations of moderate complexity.
With more than 30 years of legal experience and representing clients in countless successful mediated resolutions, Veronica completed specialized mediation training, including:

Successful completion of the National Introductory Mediation Course through the ADR Institute of British Columbia (ADRBC)

Successful completion of ADRBC’s Mentorship Program, including co-mediating a WorkSafeBC Prohibited Action Complaint mediation

Completion of several courses through the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s Collaborative Conflict Resolution program
Veronica has also provided mediation services to the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal.
She looks forward to supporting clients with mediation services in civil litigation, employment, labour, human rights, and workplace-related matters.
