Welcome to the last installment of the Ascent values series, where we break down the core values that make up the foundation of our firm.
Today, we will be talking about integrity!
Integrity is an interesting concept. In many cases, it is used in the way that the first definition sets out on dictionary.com: “adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty”.
Certainly, Ascent values honesty, moral character, ethical conduct and conducting ourselves in an above-board and upright way professionally and personally.
However, the way Ascent lives out integrity is also in keeping with definition #2: “the state of being whole, entire, or undiminished”.
We believe that acting with integrity means having alignment between what we say we will do, and we actually do. We strive, at all times and in all our dealings, to meet the expectations we set.
When you deal Ascent, you will experience reliability and accountability from us. We will set out clear expectations that you can hold us to in our services to you, and we will meet or exceed those expectations along the way.
We look forward to being of assistance and invite you to contact us to discuss our core values or any workplace law issue that you may be facing. We want to help!
